~ Mr Mellow!
Brody is a Nubian goat who came to Healing HEART Sanctuary in June 2013 at five months old. Brody was born with disabled front legs that he could not use. Some animals adapt to whatever they need, so Brody just got up on this back legs and walked around like you or I. (Ok, maybe not just like us.)
His first family realized that they could not give him the care he needed so they gave him to another family that tried to provide the home and care he needed. That family came to the same conclusion; and Brody came to Healing HEART Sanctuary. Brody was fitted for a wheelchair right away but prefers to walk upright. He has plenty of soft benches and beds to support him when he decides to rest.
Brody came at the perfect time to be the companion of Rosy, another HHS goat. Brody filled the space after Rosy’s best friend Dorie passed away. Brody has a warm, gentle nature and charm. His favorite things in life are treats (rabbit hay pellets, banana chips, cereal) and receiving a good butt scratching!
